When building is in your blood, it shows and Thomas M. Ward of Thomas Ward Construction, Inc. takes pride in quoting his maternal grandfather, Joseph J Duffy, who owned and operated a large construction company in Chicago, Illinois with projects such as the St. Thomas Aquinas Church and the Convent of the Sacred Heart. His grandfather’s achievements take on new meaning for Ward, who is the kind of guy who puts his heart and soul into every custom home he builds.
Even though some of his family roots are Midwestern, Ward was born and raised in Danville, California where he has established a long-standing reputation for excellence in high-end homebuilding along the I-680 corridor.
A carpenter by trade, Ward has been a licensed general contractor since 1984. Ward started out running a framing company, which he still owns and operates. When he made the decision to move into building homes start to finish, he chose to do it in his own backyard. He continues to possess a passion for the homebuilding business that is difficult to rival.
